Silent Gliss joins Studio Moren and a collective of collaborators at HIX 2025 – Europe’s leading hotel design event – to present The Harmony Suite, an immersive guestroom exploring this year’s theme, Culture Clash. The installation reimagines hospitality as a calm space, where tactile craftsmanship meets intelligent control and heritage evolves through innovation.
Connection through contrast
Designed by Studio Moren in collaboration with Silent Gliss, the suite balances modern technology with handcraft, legacy, and forward thinking. Soft, neutral fabrics, grass-cloth wallcoverings, warm timber, subtle metallics, and leather accents create quiet luxury.
Smart shading in hospitality
Behind the aesthetic is a complex network of integrated systems. Silent Gliss smart shading, connected via Bodhi, works with Rako lighting, Black Nova switches, and Sonos sound to create pre-set scenes that synchronise light, sound, shading, and scent. This demonstrates how intelligent automation elevates comfort, wellbeing, and atmosphere.
Crafted collaboration
Each partner brings a unique voice: Contract Chair Co. and Hypnos provide comfort; Romo Group, Phillip Jeffries, Ege Carpets, Samuel & Sons, and Alma Leather define tactile and decorative language; Chelsom lighting enhances texture and atmosphere; Forest Contracts, Capital Crispin, Mega Glass, M. Marcus Ltd, Salto, and Lualdi ensure precision detailing. Together, they create a space that feels global yet grounded, handmade yet high-tech.
HIX talks
The Harmony Suite also connects to the wider HIX programme, ‘Collide to Create,’ a series of talks curated by Studio Skov. Silent Gliss will host two panels on the 26th of November: Newtro Effect – explore how nostalgia meets innovation and Global Voices & Local Stories – discover cross-cultural collaboration in hospitality design.
Following HIX, The Harmony Suite will remain on display at the Silent Gliss studio for a limited period.
